Winter is fast approaching us here in Ottawa. The days are shorter, the wind is colder, and my winter boots have already made their debut. My summer wardrobe is packed away for the season, and I only want to wear warm and cozy things these days. Leave it to Eloquii to take the idea of “warm and cozy” and make it look awesome.
I did not realize that my wardrobe had a giant purple-tiger-stripe-mini-sweater-dress-shaped gap in it until I found this dress. It’s a mock-neck, it’s a sweater, it’s a mini – and did I mention it has purple tiger stripes? COME ON.
I appreciate the versatility of this piece. With sheer black tights and heels it’s a great party dress, but it looks equally cute with leggings and ankle boots during the day.
I have talked before on the blog about how I’m trying to keep my wardrobe ethical, and when that’s not possible (as it often isn’t if you’re plus size), to choose clothing that is well made and will last. Although Eloquii is a fast fashion company, the quality of their pieces is head and shoulders above the competition. I like that I can purchase a dress like this and enjoy it for years to come.
This dress is sadly sold out. Eloquii does have a waitlist though and they are pretty good at restocking popular items, so it’s worth adding your name if there’s a sold out piece that you love.
