Last week I completed the final session of the Couch to 5K app. I went from running for a minute at a time to running for 35 minutes continuously. It’s incredible how quickly my strength built up over the course of the program. Having the app in my earbuds telling me when to start and stop running took the guesswork out of it for me – all I had to do was keep putting one foot in front of the other!
I’ll be running for 35 minutes 3 times a week for another week or so, and then I’m going to challenge myself to reach 10K. But for now, I’m patting myself on the back for a job well done.
