I’ve been doing a lot of thinking since Fashion Revolution Week about what I can do to make my wardrobe more ethical and sustainable. I’ll be writing about that in the coming weeks, and looking at ways that I can incorporate slow fashion into my blog. But as we are leaving the cold weather behind and saying hello to spring, today I wanted to share the star of my wardrobe this winter before I put it away for the year: the leopard-print faux fur coat of my dreams.

I’ve wanted a faux fur leopard print coat forever, just like everybody else. (Right? Or is it just me?) I finally found this one on Asos that was calling my name. I was with friends when it arrived in the mail, and although they laughed a lot at it (and me), they could not deny how happy I looked when I put it on.

At two sizes larger than I need, this coat is as big as it is over-the-top. Do I care? Not even a little. This coat is my happy place.

This close-up gives you a feel for the texture of this coat. The pattern is wonderfully detailed. I feel like I’d give Cruella DeVille a run for her money in the fashion department (although I prefer faux of course!)

Have a fantastic day! – Annette
