I Quit Sugar: a seven-day experiment.

November 18, 2017 By Annette

I started this blog about six months ago, and since then I’ve managed to make exercise a deeply ingrained habit, one that I miss if I take a day off. I love the energy boost that I get from exercise, whether it’s spending an hour in the gym, going for a run, dancing my way through a Zumba class, or even just getting up from my desk to take a short walk. However, I still find myself struggling with setting up and maintaining a healthy way of eating.

To speed along my progress in this area, I’ve decided to give the I Quit Sugar 7-Day Reboot a try. I stumbled across the eight-week program and thought that it looked intriguing, but decided I would give it a test-run for a week first to see if I liked it. When you sign up for a session, you get a week’s worth of recipes, including a grocery shopping list and a detailed breakdown of exactly what meals you’re eating each day of the week. I’ve already received the meal plan and recipes, and they look easy, delicious, and totally doable. The program starts with Sunday night dinner, so I’ll be doing some meal prep tomorrow and then diving right in. I’m really looking forward to giving this a try!
